Our Little Family Trip

As we start a new weekend what better time to talk about what we did last weekend!

We headed to Park City Utah Thursday for Ryan's family reunion!  We stayed in a beautiful hotel in the mountains and the weather was AMAZING!!!

How Cute are These Boys

After a long flight (Henry decided not to sleep) we walked around the resort area.  Seriously the weather was BEAUTIFUL!

Friday we didn't do to much just took it easy and enjoyed the awesome weather.

Saturday we had the family party.  It was so fun to see all of Ryan's family which is very large and watch Henry play with his cousins.

Henry had so much fun chasing Milly, All Day!
On Sunday we went for a pretty cool hike in the morning the hike was through a ski resort.  So weird to think people will be skiing down those trails very soon.

I ran up on that moose talk about get your heart Racing!  He was HUGE!

For dinner we went to Ryan's Aunts house and had dinner outside, of course because it was beautiful out.

These kids were so funny.

Then we attempted to camp that night.  I will not do this AGAIN (Ryan!) until Henry can say I am cold or hot and sleep on his own.  Lets just say Mamma didn't get very much sleep.
That is our little boy in there promise we didn't still a little girl
(Thank you Marni and Rob for the jumper that kept Henry Warm)

Monday we had a much better flight home, back to HOT Texas.  Oh I miss that weather!

Happy Birthday To The Best Mom Out There!!!

My Mom!  Today is her birthday and I really want to write something special but I know what ever I write won’t compare to everything she does for my family and I.  I am so lucky and blessed to have such an amazing woman in my life (I don’t show it enough).  I could not ask for a better example of how to be a supermom to Henry, to be a strong woman, and a good wife to Ryan.  My mom is my best friend someone I can call on anytime of the day for advice and help with anything.  Sometimes she just listens but a lot of times she gives advice and she is probably always right!  No matter what is going on in her life and trust me there have been times in her life there has been more to handle than one woman should have to handle but she is always there for me.  My mom may be turning a day older today but it is defiantly not slowing her down.  Seriously she keeps up with Henry!

She is always chasing and dancing with Henry!

She is so good to Henry she comes up with the best ways to keep him entertained!

She would come visit me and I some how always found a project for her.  And she always would do it and with a smile!

I mean really, look where I get all my good looks from ;)

We love you so much mom and we can’t Thank You enough for all you do for us!

Henry is One and Half!

Yesterday my baby turned 18 months!  He is halfway to TWO!  I am choking up as I write this.  I can’t believe it has been a year and a half since Ryan looked at me and told me “We have a Henry Aaron”.  This is a moment I will never forget.

Henry is so much more than I thought even possible.  I never thought I could love someone so much!  He is so strong, smart and gives so much love.  I know I am bias but seriously, he is so cute.  I could go on and on but instead I will overload you with pictures :)

He has always had the best facial expressions

Henry and Gary BFF!

From the beginning he has been going to bike races, he loves bikes

He has and will always love Tech

He knows he runs things around here

Always climbing

Henry is so amazed about everything
I wish I could get as excited as he does!

Henry loves the water it doesn't matter
if it is in the bath, lake, or pool.

Always a happy guy

Always naked

They wear helmets and gloves in baseball, right!

Our happy little boy!

Henry really has changed our lives for the better.  He has made me such a better and patient person.  We are truly blessed to have him in our lives!

Happy 18 months, year and half, half birthday Little Man!  Mommy and Daddy LOVE YOU more than words can explain.

P.S. You are too young to throw tantrums so could you please stop and hold off a bit longer ;)

Promise I am back for good, Well Maybe!

I promise I did not fall off the face of the earth!
(as I am sure many of you were worried)

I was working and doing life.  As much as I would like to make this blog a priority unfortunately, I can’t and I won’t.  The blog wasn't the only thing on halt in my life, a lot of things were getting ignored.  I had no routine and I was getting very lazy.  Which means no working out, ugh.

So the past few weeks life has taken a big turn, again! It was a good change one that has been good for my family.  So here it is...I am back working for the Government.  Surprise Surprise I changed jobs.  It is back in Fort Worth, Ryan and I can carpool and I have time at lunch to go to the gym!  I get to go to the gym with one of my best friends!  Lindsay kicks my butt into shape with weights and we have done pretty well at getting into the gym these past few weeks.

This is my excuse of why I haven’t written and I am sticking to it ;)

I am going to try my best to keep up with the blog, I do have some great idea’s to share!

Don’t worry I won’t leave you without some pictures of Henry! (I know this is they only reason anyone looks at this)

OMG I just love this face!

Waving bye bye to the planes!
